Cosmetic Product Disclaimer

Captain Groomington products are cosmetic grooming products intended for topical use on the beard and skin. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Although our products are formulated with carefully selected natural ingredients, individual reactions may vary. We strongly recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin before full use, particularly if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. Discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional if you experience irritation, redness, or any allergic reaction. Keep products out of reach of children and away from eyes. For external use only.

6. Shipping

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Standard domestic shipping within the United States typically takes 5 to 10 business days from the date of order confirmation. International shipping times vary by destination and may take up to 30 days. Delivery delays can occasionally occur and are not within our control.

We are not responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees applied to international orders. All fees imposed during or after shipping are for your account (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

We are not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim and notify us at help@captaingroomington.com. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Returns and Exchange Policy

Returns

We want you to be fully satisfied with your Captain Groomington purchase. Our Return Policy lasts 30 days and takes effect from the date you receive your purchase. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund, exchange, or store credit.

To be eligible for a return within the 30-day window:

  • Product must be unused and in its original condition
  • Product must be in original, unopened packaging (for unused items)
  • Product must be returned to the return facility address provided by our customer service team
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must accompany the return

Opened Products and Skin Reactions

For health and safety reasons, opened cosmetic products generally cannot be returned. However, if you experience an allergic reaction or skin irritation after using one of our products, please contact us at help@captaingroomington.com within 14 days of receipt. We may, at our discretion, offer a refund, replacement, or store credit on a case-by-case basis.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at help@captaingroomington.com with photos of the damage and your order number. We will work to make it right with a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Sample boxes and discounted/clearance items (unless damaged on arrival)
  • Opened or used cosmetic products (except in case of allergic reaction, as described above)
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Returns are typically processed within 7 to 14 business days of receipt. Once your return is approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Depending on your card issuer or bank, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Approved store credit equivalent to the purchase price will be reflected in your customer account and is non-transferable. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/defective product.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange your purchase for a different product or scent, please email us at help@captaingroomington.com to coordinate. Exchanges are subject to product availability.

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/defective product. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $75 in value, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not responsible for items lost in return shipping.

International Returns (EU/EEA Customers)

If you are a customer in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason. To exercise this right, please notify us by email at help@captaingroomington.com. You must return the item in unused, original condition within 14 days of notifying us. Upon receipt and inspection, we will refund all payments received from you, including original delivery costs, within 14 days. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or defective.

Our team will provide you with the return shipping address and any additional instructions.
